Coat & Hat – Zara / Dress – Reformation / Shoes – Converse

I couldn’t be happier with the coat and hat trend that is happening right now. The look is a bit tomboyish (which I love!) so I added the sheer panel dress to add a feminine touch. Pairing the converse just makes the whole outfit completely wearable where you can run around town… day to night!

Oversized has been quite the trend of the moment… I have been searching for a pair of baggy boyfriend jeans and when I saw these bad boys at Topshop I knew they were the ones. I love the fact that because they are so big I have to wear a belt to keep them up. To make this look work I recommend 2 things… sky high boots or heels and a crop top unless you are 5’10 then you can wear them with a garbage bag and look amazing.

I went down to visit one of my favorite Los Angeles based lines AGAIN and pulled my top 3 favorite pieces. What I absolutely love about AGAIN is their ability to add edge to glamour, which is right up my alley. I still feel cool and sexy in their pieces and not stuffy. Amber the brains and beauty behind AGAIN and one of the most sweetest person you will ever meet. Being in the creative field I love talking to other creatives. I always leave the conversation so inspired. I asked Amber what is her favorite part about designing and this is what she had to say… “Designing is something that has a lot of reward. Seeing a sketch come to life is unreal but even better is seeing someone not only wear your design but feel good in it. For some reason I really like the androgynous look. When you see a girl rocking a suit with a button up and a tie, I mean c’mon! Look at how mega babe Freja Beha pulls it off in Zadig & Voltaire’s Fall 2013 campaign, the look is just so sexy without even showing skin. That being said, I am currently on the hunt for a well fitted suit. In the mean time, I’m wearing my version of this look by pairing a relaxed fitted skirt and a blouse with attached tie. Finishing off the look I added a blazer pulling the outfit together…

Fall is slowly and I mean very slowly approaching LA and I am looking forward to finally begin layering! The oversized blazer is definitely a must and perfect statement piece to add to your wardrobe. With a top heavy piece like this it’s nice show as much leg as you can … Then top off the look with a nice chunky shoe, these creepers by T.U.K. They are perfect match for this look!
