If you love to travel as much as I do and you have not yet visited Greece then you must add to your list! I absolutely fell in love! We started out in Athens for 2 days and stayed in the Plaka district, which for us was ideal because not only is it walking distance to most of the monuments but also to all the shopping and taverna’s. The food is AMAZING, there is no other way to describe it, just simply amazing. We just about ordered tzatziki at every meal along with a traditional greek salad which I have now started making at home because I crave it… When in Athens and you are looking for something special to bring home with you, I highly recommend visiting The Poet Sandal Maker. It’s a very cool experience, you start off by choosing a sandal from the wall you want to try then they fit to your foot perfectly. They are so comfortable that we had to go back to have another pair made. Jackie O and John Lennon were fans along with Sophia Loren and Kate Moss…
